Discover our key takeaways from monday.com Elevate 2024 in London and New York, including insights from the monday.com community and a look at what's to come!
As the sun sets on monday.com Elevate 2024 in London and New York and organisers, attendees and sponsors jet off back to their respective homes across the globe, we're taking time to reflect on what was an unforgettable experience. Upscale (alongside Adaptavist and ScriptRunner, our fellow Adaptavist Group family members) rocked both the booth and stage at monday.com's annual extravaganza and wow, it did not disappoint!
For the very first time, live and in as many colours as a fully populated monday.com board, we had the opportunity to showcase our suite of apps—Unlimited Subitems, Recurring Tasks, Smart Forms, and Integrate Plus for Slack—and engage with members of the monday.com community to better understand the opportunities and challenges of modern project management and new ways of working.
But Elevate wasn't just about showing off our shiny new tools; it was about sparking meaningful conversations, solving real-world problems, and catching a glimpse of the trends shaping the future of work. From AI-driven automation to more advanced cross-platform integrations, Elevate 2024 offered insights that every monday.com user can benefit from.
In this recap, we'll walk you through our top takeaways from the event—customer insights, industry trends, and tech innovations that are redefining how teams work. Plus, we'll share some of the feedback we received from our booth visitors and monday.com themselves on how our apps are making their mark in the ever-evolving modern workplace.
So, let's dive in and look back at some of the standout moments, key insights, and what this all means for the future of work for monday.com users and beyond.
Upscale at Elevate: the next step in our blossoming relationship with monday.com
Since partnering with monday.com just over two years ago, we’ve seen our relationship go from strength to strength.
From day one, our goal has been to unite the best of both worlds. With monday.com, you have the world's leading Work Operating System. At Upscale, we're dedicated project management experts crafting apps that help you unlock monday.com's full potential—so you can experience work at its best.
Therefore, our first-ever participation in this year's Elevate conferences was a big deal for us, and it was the next milestone in our ever-growing relationship with not only monday.com themselves, but the wider community as well.
This was more than just another event on the calendar for us. Elevate is the space for game-changers in the work and project management scene, and as the creators behind tools like Unlimited Subitems, Recurring Tasks, Smart Forms, and Integrate Plus for monday.com and Slack, we had a lot to say—and even more to learn.
For us, Elevate was about more than just showcasing our tools. It was about connecting—with current users and new faces alike—and understanding the challenges people face every day managing their workflows, especially as work environments become more distributed and data-heavy.
This was a prime opportunity for us to dive into what matters most to users right now and listen to real-world feedback, and we aimed to make the most it!
Our first participation in Elevate was an incredible experience! Seeing a full room for the Q&A session on marketplace apps was truly gratifying. The enthusiasm from the monday.com community is clear, and we're excited to continue unlocking the full potential of these tools together.

The masterclass sessions: planning the next Eras Tour with monday.com
We hosted our masterclass sessions in both cities, with a fun little twist: Planning the next Eras Tour with monday.com—are you ready for it…?
Yes, we went full T-Swift on this one!
Our sessions were all about transforming a blank space into the event-planning monday.com board of your wildest dreams. It was less about the stress and more about shaking it off with automation tips, custom workflows, and clever ways to manage social media and data feedback.
Inspired by Taylor Swift Eras Tour-levels of complexity, attendees learned how to set up workflows from scratch and harness our apps to manage multiple moving parts—from automating repetitive tasks to simplifying scheduling and team communication.
We aimed to make the sessions not just informative, not even just actionable, but also, fun!
If you couldn't make it to the live sessions, we missed you—but 'speak now', and we can still help you get more from monday.com. Just get in touch with us here and we can organise a customised masterclass for you and your team. Whether you're gearing up for a solo project or bringing the whole team along for the ride, we're here to make it a success.
We can't wait to help you take your next project to centre stage!
The panel discussion: monday.com apps—your secret sauce for best-in-class workflows
Unquestionably a standout moment from Elevate was the panel discussion in New York: monday.com apps—your secret sauce for best-in-class workflows. This session brought together some key voices in the monday.com ecosystem, including Upscale's Head of Product, Uxia Fernandez, Guy Gavish from spot-nik and Ophir Penso, VP of Partnerships at monday.com, who moderated the discussion.
The session was designed to help monday.com users, admins, partners, and champions discover how marketplace apps can enhance their workflows. Key insights were shared on how apps streamline processes, boost productivity, and transform business operations. The conversation touched on the value that monday.com apps provide at different stages of a user's journey—from initial implementation to scaling over time—tailored to an organisation's evolving needs.
A major takeaway was that apps from the marketplace are designed primarily to be user-friendly, minimising the need for technical expertise. This accessibility makes them a powerful tool for non-developers looking to maximise their monday.com experience. The importance of data security and privacy when using third-party apps was also a key focus, with panellists providing guidance on what users should be mindful of in this space.
The session wrapped up by exploring how apps help companies scale and standardise their use of monday.com while ensuring a seamless user experience through continuous improvement based on user feedback.
The interest was palpable—standing room only!
This session was yet another testament to the rising demand for marketplace apps and how they're becoming essential to workflows on monday.com.
Industry insights and trends: what we learned
Of course, Elevate was also the perfect venue for us to gauge what's top-of-mind in the work and project management world. Industry leaders were buzzing about AI-driven automations, integrations with CRMs and the increasing demand for more seamless collaboration with other workplace tools. We were also hearing a lot about businesses getting serious about remote team efficiency, and how monday.com is enabling that shift.
One thing that kept coming up? Customer pain points around managing complex projects with tons of moving parts. This is where Unlimited Subitems really resonated (and was probably the standout of our four apps for attendees), as it gives users the flexibility to break down large projects into more manageable parts, while still keeping everything from team members to statuses and deadlines connected.
Overall, the consensus seemed to be that as the modern workplace continues to evolve, there is a greater need for solutions that allow teams across all industries to unlock more from their everyday platforms, enabling them to do their best work.
Connecting with the monday.com community
Undoubtedly, one of the highlights of our Elevate experience was hearing from so many in the monday.com community about their everyday experiences and challenges with the rapidly evolving workplace. And we listened, a lot!
What was most revealing was just the sheer variety of industries and job roles in attendance, all looking for better ways to manage their projects and workflows more efficiently.
One of the biggest challenges our visitors talked about was managing large-scale projects.
Experts in the renewable energies industry, who manage hundreds of annual projects, mentioned they have been struggling to keep up with manual notifications. After discussing their needs with our team, they were eager to dive into how Recurring Tasks and Integrate Plus could help streamline their processes and reduce manual oversight.
Similarly, project managers in global logistics shared their challenges in making sure none of their 200+ deliverables per year fall through the cracks. Our demo revealed how Unlimited Subitems could make tracking multiple project elements way easier for them.
We came away with a wealth of new ideas—both for potential use cases for our existing apps that we hadn't considered before, and fresh inspiration for creating new solutions to help teams across all industries meet the growing challenges of an expanding global workforce.
Overall though, our key takeaway was the genuine warmth, enthusiasm, and friendliness of everyone who visited our booth—a true reflection of the monday.com community spirit!
Looking ahead: the future of work and project management
With AI, automation, and more robust integrations driving the future of work and project management, we're excited to continue developing solutions that meet the changing needs of our users. Elevate confirmed what we've known for a while: the future is all about making workflows smarter, faster, and more intuitive.
At Upscale, we're looking ahead to how we can continue to innovate—building on the incredible feedback we received at Elevate, and continuing to support our users with tools that simplify the complex. We can't wait to see what the next chapter holds as we continue to work hand-in-hand with the monday.com community.
And in the words of monday.com themselves:
We love collaborating with Upscale and are thrilled by how much we’ve grown together over the past two years. We can’t wait to see what the future holds and what we can achieve as partners!
That's all for now folks, until next year!
